I have picked a rather silly time to begin constructing this blog. So..much..work... not...getting..done... Why do we place ourselves under so much pressure? How do we end up in these dire situations where our eyes become telepathically glued to a computer screen for a good part of the night, striving, struggling, slowly dying in an endeavour to type 1000 words on a highly outdated review of 'Emma' that was written by a man with the name 'Reginald'.
That overwhelming sense of dread that is the undying cause of procrastination. Oh the joys of year 12. Pretending you don't care, pretending you do care, endless cups of black coffee in a cardboard cup and a social life that swings between drunken outbursts and solitary confinement. And this is all for the benefit of our future? That said, I refuse to end this blog with a rhetorical question. So instead I will leave you with the one and only statement that makes any sense to me: Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about. At least Oscar knew his shit.

Film - "Luna"

This is the story of a young woman named Luna. Not defined by any particular age. Suffers from schizophrenia and consequently must face the devastating social isolation, hallucinations and depression which are all induced by this illness. “Luna” is set in an internal world, timeless and placeless, and shuffles through reality and nightmare. We are introduced into the film by narration from controversial philosopher Terence McKenna, who blatantly condemns society’s fear of madness... Stay tuned.

Love, love is a verb

Love is a doing word. I'd do it all again. But my emotional response lacks the intensity I am used to and familiar with as he has somehow numbed my mind. I want to tell him, but I have confused him too much already. I detest and despise this restrictionn, trains of thought echo in my mind. Distant. Burning bulb has gone flat now. Trembling man, there is so much you don't know about me and someday I will tell you everything.

My moral conscience is like a very small trapped mouse. It squirms at the surface of my expressed opinions, but I can't suppress that cheap thrill of thinking rebelliously.

When one shares something with another, one experiences an inner change. And then there are the fuck heads who end up teaching you a lesson. But what if you meet someone who is a combination of the two - it completely blows your fucking mind. And what if, they have such an affect on you, that their indifference is enough to drive you insane. It feels slightly unhealthy.

Regina Spektor on a cold Saturday night - apparently something that initiates happy thoughts. That is, according to my train of thoughts whilst writing that list of happy's at some absurd hour. But now as I sit here listening to Fidelity and reflecting on this made up notion, I think I've changed my mind. It is early March and already my ugg boots have subtly made their way out into the open - how absurd! But in all seriousness, surely it is too early in the year for this sort of thing. These delicate hints that winter is on it's merry way, are simply depressing me. Perhaps it is because change of season brings physical reminders of one's past. Not that I'm about to delve into the sordid details of my past life, no no. It does induce a strong sense of uneasiness however - somehow so much happens in the space of a year! I think the most appropriate and beneficial thing to do is invest in a snug, oversized coat, some nice woolen gloves and at least seventy pairs of black stockings. Ah, the joys of materialism. I may also knit a scarf.

Laura Marling, endowed with a husky voice, an acoustic guitar and a gift for building quirky hooky folk songs. I first stumbled across her two years ago, just after her first album was released, 'Alas I cannot Swim'. One gets the impression of someone building their worldview as they grow, struggling to deal with new situations, and simultaneously drawn to both the outgoing urges of youth and more introspective moods. She once chose to perform on the street after being denied entry to one of her own performances for being underage. The reason for posting this blog; I am so freakin excited for her new album, 'I Speak Because I Can' which will be released on the 22nd of March.

Out of the void, finally, a sound; while on a boat (admittedly) outside the action (admittedly) the perfect and absolute silence of the wet lazy slap of water against water and the rolling creak of timber-breaks; giving rise at once to the speculation or the assumption or the hope that something is about to happen; a pipe is heard.
